Grant came tearing into Monday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Ida B. Wells Guardians 11-1. Considering the Generals have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Grant pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Ida B. Wells, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

Coming up, Grant will take on Lakeridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Pacers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ida B. Wells, they will welcome Lake Oswego at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
