Baseball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade was the 6-4 winner over Greencastle when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cadets fell just short of the Tiger Cubs by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

J.T. Roshong was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Marcus Hobson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Greencastle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will face off against Clinton Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greencastle, they will challenge Linton-Stockton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
