West Jordan posted their closest win since January 30, 2024 on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Granger Lancers, sneaking past 60-57. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won eight in a row.

Leading West Jordan to victory were Jacob Smith and Ian Mcintyre. Smith went 6 of 8 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds, while Mcintyre went 6 for 14 en route to 19 points along with five boards and three steals. That's the most points Smith has posted since back in November of 2024.

Granger lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mason Biddulph, who had 16 points and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Biddulph now owns an excellent 45% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Tidwell, who scored 16 points.

West Jordan's win bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Granger, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

West Jordan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-63 defeat against Kearns on the 7th. As for Granger, they have also already played their next contest, an 81-44 loss against Cyprus on the 7th.
