Jordan entered their tilt with East Chapel Hill on Monday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They walked away with a 72-59 victory over the East Chapel Hill Wildcats. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Wildcats are ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jordan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rivers Knight, who went 8-for-12 on his way to 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and five blocks. Knight is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 18 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Julian Lowe, who went 8-for-17 to rack up 20 points and three blocks.

Jordan was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They racked up seven more assists than East Chapel Hill's also-impressive total of 15.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bennett Corley, who went 8-for-16 en route to 20 points. Jameer Phelmetta was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points and four steals.

Jordan pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.9 points over those games. As for East Chapel Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Jordan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 78-40 win against Northern Durham on the 11th. As for East Chapel Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 70-55 loss against Riverside-Durham on the 11th.
