After losing to Valley Falls the last time they met, Troy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dragons on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Alyson Grable paced Troy's offense, picking up seven kills. Grable got some help from Harper Whetstine and her ten assists. Grable also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Elliette Geiger, each putting up two.

Valley Falls' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aubre Garza, who had ten digs, and Cali DeLong, who had seven digs.

Troy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Valley Falls, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-21.

Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Pleasant Ridge on the 7th. As for Valley Falls, they have also already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on the 9th.
