Basketball Recap: Sandalwood Falls Despite Big Games from Logan Wilkinson and Anthony Evans

Sandalwood lost against Riverside back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sandalwood Saints took a hard 56-42 fall against the Riverside Generals. The matchup marked the Saints' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sandalwood's loss came despite strong showings from Anthony Evans and Logan Wilkinson. Evans posted 13 points, while Wilkinson had 12 points. Another player making a difference was Antonio Hodges, who earned six points.

Sandalwood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Riverside, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Sandalwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-63 loss against North Florida Educational Institute on the 10th. As for Riverside, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-43 defeat against Andrew Jackson on the 6th.
