Softball Recap: Paul VI Falls Short Against Ranked Bishop O'connell

Paul VI faced Bishop O'Connell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Knights, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Paul VI's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Bishop O'Connell, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 16-0.

Paul VI didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Potomac School on the 12th. As for Bishop O'Connell, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against St. Mary's Ryken on the 10th.
