Soccer Recap: Hurricane Comes Up Short at Home Against Woodrow Wilson

Hurricane unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. If Hurricane were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Woodrow Wilson when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hurricane didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against St. Albans on the 21st. As for Woodrow Wilson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Morgantown on the 23rd.
