Volleyball Preview: Spring Valley Vikings vs. West Florence Knights
The Spring Valley Vikings will face off against the West Florence Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Spring Valley came up short against Lugoff-Elgin and fell 3-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Tamia Wilson, who had 27 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Talde, who had nine digs and 14 assists.
Even though they lost, Spring Valley kept the net locked down and finished the game with 12 blocks. That's the most blocks they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, West Florence also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Westwood by a score of 3-1.
West Florence started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-17, 25-9, 25-18.
Spring Valley's record is now 4-13. As for West Florence, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
