Volleyball Recap: Mountain House Beats East Union for Their Third Straight Victory

Mountain House extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Amogh Janganure. Mountain House blew past the East Union Lancers 3-0 on Monday for which the team can thank Janganure, who had nine digs and three assists. Those three assists gave him a new career-high.

Mountain House's got stronger as the match went on, holding East Union to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-8.

East Union's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Serrato, who had four digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Keenan Yang, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Mountain House's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for East Union, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Mountain House and East Union will both be playing Central Catholic the next time they take the court. Mountain House will head out to face Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while East Union will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
