Legacy is 9-1 against Boulder since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Legacy Lightning are taking a road trip to face off against the Boulder Panthers at 11:30 a.m.

Legacy is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Holy Family on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Legacy was beaten by Holy Family 70-30. The Lightning were down 54-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boulder). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Prairie View 85-26. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Thunderhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Boulder's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Legacy was able to grind out a solid victory over Boulder in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 48-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Legacy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
