Football Recap: Peoria Beats ALA - West Foothills for Their Fourth Straight Win + How To Watch

Peoria extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 5-3. They came out on top against the ALA - West Foothills Guardians by a score of 26-19. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 victory the Guardians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Dominic Kramer was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 152 yards and three TDs. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in August. Peoria also got a significant boost from Cristian Zarate, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 90 yards.

Peoria didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Marcell Colenberg and Carlos Nunez.

As for ALA - West Foothills, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. Despite 93 more yards than Peoria, the Guardians couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Several Guardians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carlos Serrano, who threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns. Kenyon Rosenthall helped Serrano out on the ground, rushing for 134 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

Peoria has already played their next contest, a 21-16 win against Northwest Christian on the 24th. As for ALA - West Foothills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-0 victory against Thunderbird on the 24th.
