Baseball Recap: North Marion Takes a Loss

North Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Keyser Golden Tornado.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Keyser, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. North Marion will take on The Linsly School at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cadets have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Keyser, they will square off against Frankfort at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
