Volleyball Recap: Holmdel Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

Holmdel entered their tilt with Middletown North on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Holmdel's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Middletown North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-9-1.

Holmdel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Asbury Park on the 25th. As for Middletown North, they will challenge Marlboro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
