Snowflake hadn't done well against Chinle recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lobos took down the Wildcats 50-33. This was payback for the Lobos, who suffered a 51-36 loss the last time these two teams met.

AJ Yarn was nothing short of spectacular: she went 5-for-12 to rack up 12 points along with eight assists and seven steals. Ryah Denhalter was another key player, shooting 62% from the field en route to 17 points and three steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Snowflake was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chinle only racked up eight.

Despite the loss, Chinle still got an impressive performance from Haidyn John, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Snowflake and bumps their season record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 49 points in those games. As for Chinle, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Snowflake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-46 win against Holbrook on the 4th. As for Chinle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-36 victory against Winslow on the 4th.
