Volleyball Recap: Upper Sandusky Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

Upper Sandusky had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Ridgemont Golden Gophers on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Rams not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Upper Sandusky walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.

Upper Sandusky was led to victory by Ella Frombaugh and Adriane Yeater. Frombaugh had 14 digs and three aces, while Yeater had eight digs.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridgemont and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Upper Sandusky has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Columbian on the 23rd. As for Ridgemont, they will head out on the road to take on Kenton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
