Baseball Recap: Delano Comes Up Short

Delano lost against Kennedy on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 15-5. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Jonathan Basurto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run.

Delano's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Kennedy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Coming up, Delano will be playing in front of their home fans against Orosi at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kennedy, they will face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
