Basketball Recap: Southern Coffey County Drops Season-High Score on Tyro Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Coffey County). They were the clear victor by a 47-23 margin over the Tyro Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Karley Ohl was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 13 boards. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Ludolph, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 13 points and six rebounds.

Southern Coffey County was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Southern Coffey County's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3. As for Tyro Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Oswego the next time they take the court. Southern Coffey County will head out to face Oswego at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Tyro Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
