Softball Recap: Clio Comes Up Short

The Clio Mustangs came up short against the Algonac Muskrats on Saturday and fell 8-4.

Clio's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Algonac, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clio will challenge Swartz Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Algonac, they will venture away from home to take on Almont at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Muskrats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
