Volleyball Recap: Brookings Comes Up Short

Brookings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Huron Tigers, falling 3-0. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-15.

Brookings' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Huron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brookings is set to face off against their familiar foe Watertown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huron will square off against rival Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
