Football Recap: Star-Spencer Takes a Loss

Star-Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Plainview Indians and fell 62-8. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Indians are ranked 58th).

Star-Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Plainview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Star-Spencer will face off against rival Kingfisher at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Plainview is set to challenge their familiar foe Heritage Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
