Basketball Recap: Xavier Prep Falls Despite Big Games from King Pellum and Jack Brann + How To Watch

After flying high against Hamilton on Thursday, Xavier Prep came back down to earth. The Saints fell 57-46 to the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Xavier Prep had strong showings from Jack Brann, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 11 points and five rebounds, and King Pellum, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Tj Silva, who earned six points.

Daymien Jauregi was nothing short of spectacular for Palo Verde Valley: he scored 19 points and three steals. Kalani Nguyen was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.
