After a string of three wins, Maclay's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 8-4 to the Bolles Bulldogs.

Ben Wagnon was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Maclay's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Bolles, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Maclay will head out to face off against Jefferson County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bolles, they will be playing at home against Parkview at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
