Volleyball Game Preview: Denver North Vikings vs. George Washington Patriots

The Denver North Vikings will challenge the George Washington Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Denver North took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Kennedy. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Commanders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Denver North took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, George Washington beat Hinkley 3-1 on Wednesday.

George Washington had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

George Washington now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Denver North, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
