Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Centennial on Saturday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks.

Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Centennial, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-8.

Valley Christian and Centennial should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. The Trojans (ranked 15th) will meet Eastlake (ranked 192nd) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Centennial will challenge Bakersfield at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (39 vs. 410).
