 Cory-Rawson is 0-7 against North Baltimore since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets will head out on the road to  take on  the North Baltimore Tigers at 5:00  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  matchup.
 Cory-Rawson fell victim to Elgin and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. Their  tough  10-0 loss to the Comets  might stick with them for a while. Cory-Rawson has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Cory-Rawson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Blake Boehm, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double. Boehm has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts every time he's  pitched this season.
 Meanwhile, sadly, North Baltimore is still looking for their first win of the season after four  games. They fell  12-9 to Fairview on Friday. One positive for North Baltimore, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Cory-Rawson now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Baltimore, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Cory-Rawson came up short against North Baltimore in their previous matchup  back in April of 2022, falling  12-7. Can Cory-Rawson avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
