Soccer Game Preview: Hickory vs. Forestview

The Hickory Tornadoes will challenge the Forestview Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hickory will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Hickory is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Atkins with a sharp 6-1 win. Considering Hickory have won 18 contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Atkins with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Val Bravo (3), Piper Jillings (2), and Emily Bridges.

Meanwhile, Forestview had just enough and edged out Smoky Mountain 3-2 on Thursday.

Forestview's victory bumped their record up to 18-2-1. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 19-1-1.

Everything went Hickory's way against Forestview in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, as Hickory made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
