Basketball Recap: Blackstone Valley RVT Takes a Loss

Blackstone Valley RVT lost against Montachusett RVT back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montachusett RVT Bulldogs.

Blackstone Valley RVT has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points over those games. As for Montachusett RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Coming up, Blackstone Valley RVT will square off against Keefe Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montachusett RVT, they will face off against Francis Parker Charter Essential School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
