Soccer Recap: DeKalb County Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, DeKalb County was not quite Livingston Academy's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. DeKalb County were not able to make up for their loss to Livingston Academy from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

DeKalb County dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Livingston Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeKalb County will challenge Cumberland County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Livingston Academy, they will square off against Warren County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Livingston Academy's defense better be ready for this one: Warren County have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season.
