Basketball Game Preview: Bandys Trojans vs. South Iredell Vikings + How To Watch

The Bandys Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the South Iredell Vikings at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. South Iredell took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bandys, who comes in off a win.

Bandys is headed out to face South Iredell after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Trojans took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 59-28 victory over Wilkes Central. The Trojans pushed the score to 49-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bandys to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Bell, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 steals. Those 11 steals gave Bell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shania Williams, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine steals.

Meanwhile, South Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by North Mecklenburg 71-22. South Iredell was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-12.

Bandys couldn't quite finish off South Iredell when the teams last played back in November of 2023 and fell 54-51. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
