Basketball Recap: Burley Comes Up Short

Burley lost against Twin Falls back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Burley Bobcats had to suffer through a 67-37 loss at the hands of the Twin Falls Bruins. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Burley lost, don't look at Nash Gillette. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 15 on his way to 21 points.

Burley's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Twin Falls, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burley will welcome Wood River at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burley is facing Wood River at the right time seeing as Wood River is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. Twin Falls has already played their next contest (against Mountain Home), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
