Baseball Recap: Palestine Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hughes Springs, Palestine was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Devine Warhorses.

Palestine's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Devine, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palestine will host LEE at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Palestine's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so LEE's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Devine, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Holmes at 3:00 p.m.
