Recap: Thomas Dale Knights vs. Miami Stingarees

The Thomas Dale Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Miami on Wednesday as Thomas Dale made off with a 69-43 victory. The win was just business as usual for Thomas Dale, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Leading Thomas Dale to victory were Timani Harris and Nylah Wilson. Harris scored 19 points along with five steals, while Wilson scored 21 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. The match was Wilson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Allie Broadus was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Thomas Dale's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Thomas Dale won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Camden at 6:45 p.m. on December 21st. Camden knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully Thomas Dale likes a good challenge. Miami will finish 2023 at home by hosting Lakota West at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakota West will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 233rd in Ohio, while Miami is ranked 56th in Florida).
