Football Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the University School Preppers.

University School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Kim led the charge by rushing for 141 yards and two scores. Kim has become a key player for the Preppers: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise. Tylar Robinson also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for University School, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

St. Charles has already played their next contest, a 65-7 defeat against Bishop Watterson on the 24th. As for University School, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-14 win against Howland on the 24th.
