Softball Recap: Pace Vikings vs. Porter Cowboys
After soaring to 21 runs the game before, Pace was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Porter Cowboys by a score of 2-1. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cowboys earlier this season, when they won 3-1.
Luna Juarez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on eight hits.
On the hitting side, Pace saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Alejandro, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
