Tri-Valley put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Shamokin Area Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since September 21, 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tri-Valley took every set by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7.

Faith Melocheck paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Melocheck got some help from Callie Melocheck and her 14 assists. Liv Lupole controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Shamokin Area, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Tri-Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Williamsport on the 20th. As for Shamokin Area, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lewisburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
