Football Game Preview: South Effingham Mustangs vs. Glynn Academy Terrors + How To Watch

South Effingham hasn't had much luck against Glynn Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will head out to take on the Terrors at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, South Effingham needed a bit of extra time to put away Greenbrier. They managed a 34-28 win over the Wolfpack. The Mustangs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Khyran White produced another solid performance rushing for 270 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 112.3 rushing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Coburn, who rushed for 57 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Effingham was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Glynn Academy made easy work of Evans on Friday and carried off a 40-17 victory. The Terrors haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got South Effingham back to even at 3-3. As for Glynn Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

South Effingham took a serious blow against Glynn Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 31-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
