Garrett Brumbaugh turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than one earned runs surrendered on Thursday. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Armstrong is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 5-10 otherwise.

Coming up, Brumbaugh and Armstrong will be playing at home against Indiana at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last time Brumbaugh duked it out with the Little Indians (back in March of 2023), the River Hawks came out on top by a score of 10-2.
