Soccer Game Preview: Whitney vs. Davis Sr.

The Whitney Wildcats and the Davis Sr. Blue Devils will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Whitney is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.

Whitney is headed into the match without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Oak Ridge could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Whitney hit Oak Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jax Magnuson, Christian Lees, and Brian Lynch.

Meanwhile, Davis Sr. put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let Granite Bay onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. Give the Blue Devils' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Whitney's draw gives them a new season record of 2-0-3. As for Davis Sr., their victory bumped their record up to 4-0-2.
