Volleyball Recap: Tanalian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Nunamiut

With a playoff win on the line, Tanalian rose to the challenge on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Nunamiut Amaguq 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Lynx, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Erik McGee paced Tanalian's offense, picking up 32 kills. McGee got some help from Mikiah Lorentzen and her 21 assists. Noah Opland controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Tanalian is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4-1 record this season. As for Nunamiut, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 25-7.

Tanalian has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Buckland on the 6th. Nunamiut does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
