Volleyball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline lost against South Gray back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Thunderbirds fell 2-0 to the Rebels. The Thunderbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

South Gray can attribute much of their success to Keagan Mel Eesa Showalter, who had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Mel Eesa Showalter has posted over her last six contests.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for South Gray, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-2.

Skyline has already played their next matchup (against Ellis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Gray, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Larned on the 27th.
