Baseball Recap: Sts. Peter & Paul Takes a Loss

Holly Grove Christian hit Sts. Peter & Paul with a seven-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Sabres fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 9-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sabres of the 13-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Sts. Peter & Paul and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Holly Grove Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Sts. Peter & Paul will head out to take on Key at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holly Grove Christian, they will face off against Salisbury Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
