Cumberland faced South Kingstown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Clippers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rebels. Cumberland's winning goal came courtesy of Caleb Moran.

The win made it two in a row for Cumberland and bumps their season record up to 8-4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matchups. As for South Kingstown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-2 record this season.
