Wheatmore hasn't had much luck against Randleman recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Wheatmore is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Wheatmore lost 8-2 to Providence Grove on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adalyn Boles spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Maddie Nichols made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Carter, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Randleman). They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over Eastern Randolph on Friday. The Tigers have beaten the Wildcats the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.
Addyson Dees made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Dees was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kadie Green, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Makayla Striblin was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Randleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Randolph only posted an OBP of .100.
Randleman's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wheatmore, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Wheatmore came up short against Randleman in their previous meeting back in March, falling 6-3. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
