Volleyball Recap: Central Plains Oilers vs. LaCrosse Leopards
Central Plains was the 2-0 winner over LaCrosse when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Oilers fell just short of the Leopards by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. While the Oilers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Leopards 25-17 in the first set.
Central Plains started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-20, 25-19.
Kambree Nixon paced Central Plains' offense, picking up ten kills. Nixon got some help from Taylin Davis and her 19 assists.
