Football Game Preview: Bangs Dragons vs. Coleman Bluecats

The Bangs Dragons will face off against the Coleman Bluecats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bangs is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against De Leon on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Dragons were outmatched by the Bearcats and fell 60-20. The Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Although Bangs took the loss, they still got scores from Cason Tidwell, Connor Bible, and Jaxon Duncan.

Meanwhile, Coleman can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 26-19 win over Ballinger.

This is the second loss in a row for Bangs and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Coleman, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7.
