Basketball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Troy Trojans came up short against the Wallace Miners and fell 55-48. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wallace to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Miller, who went 7 of 16 en route to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Davis, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 17 points and three steals.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Wallace, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Troy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-53 loss against Lapwai on the 1st. As for Wallace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-35 victory against Genesee on the 1st.
