American Leadership Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Rockwell Marshals with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Eagles were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Marshals, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

American Leadership Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rockwell between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-13.

Rockwell is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

American Leadership Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Marshals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
