Baseball Recap: The Village School of Naples Wins Going Away Against Seacrest Country Day

The Village School of Naples never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over the Seacrest Country Day Stingrays. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Will Pryor was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Pryor was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, EJ Murphy was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Christian Horvath, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3.

The Village School of Naples is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. Seacrest Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
