Softball Game Preview: Centennial Huskies vs. Edison Chargers

The Centennial Huskies will be taking part in a tournament against the Edison Chargers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Centennial is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

San Juan Hills hit Centennial with a four-run fourth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Huskies took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions.

Meanwhile, Edison came up short against Los Altos on Saturday, falling 7-1.

Edison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Fisher, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Centennial was able to grind out a solid victory over Edison in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, winning 7-4. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
